The nonprofit Center for Social Action and Innovation (KMPO) initiated the digital project “Archimedes” to develop a tool for measuring the social impact of projects, actions, and investments, it said in an announcement, according to ANA.
Archimedes is funded by the Active Citizens Fund in Greece (July 2020 to June 2022), which in turn is supported by a 12-million-euro grant by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway as part of the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants 2014-2020. In Greece, the fund operator for the Active Citizens Fund is Bodossaki Foundation, with the help of SolidarityNow.
KMPO will set up an extensive database involving micro-and macro-data, allowing for a multi-layer approach to assessing the social impact of political programs and actions.
