First batches of Covid-19 vaccine arrive in Greek cities of Patras, Larisa and Ioannina

The first doses of the vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 arrived at Patras University Hospital on Monday morning, in a special delivery van escorted by police patrol cars, ANA reports.
Based on the plan, the first vaccinations at the hospital – which is also a Covid-19 referral hospital – will take place on Tuesday. First in line to get the vaccines are the doctors and nursing staff, following by the rest of the healthcare personnel, after which vaccinations will continue in other hospitals as well.
