The AHEPA family of Hempstead, AHEPA Constantine Cassis Chapter No.170, Daughters of Penelope Pasithea No.141, Sons of Pericles Lord Byron Chapter No. 233, and Maids of Athena Victory Chapter No. 76, congratulated the graduating class of 2020 in the Cathedral of Saint Paul Greek School Program and the recipients of the 2020 AHEPA 170 Greeks School Scholastic Awards Program.
The AHEPA 170 scholastic awards recipients were: Alexander Apostolopoulos, Pantelis Carageorgios, Milton Dontis, and Sophia Georgatos.
The presentation took place on Nov. 22 and among those in attendance were Erica Palmer and Kelly Haas, the daughters of the recently deceased George and Denise Hadjoglou. The late George Hadjoglou was AHEPA Chapter 170’s Director of Education, a Past Chapter President, and Chairman of the Board of Governors. Hadjoglou was also the Chairman of the Cathedral of Saint Paul Greek School Program. May Denise and George’s memory be eternal!
Also present were Chapter 170 Director of Web Nicholas Kontoleon, President Anastasios Stampolis, Executive Secretary Anton Skrivanek, Director of Hellenism Christos Vretakis, and Principle of the Cathedral of Saint Paul Greek School program Mary Vlogianitis.
