A cold front with very low temperatures will start affecting Greece from Wednesday evening, according to the latest forecast of the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) weather service meteo.gr, ANA reports.
The temperatures may drop to below 0 degrees Celsius during the night, even in low-lying areas, while areas at a higher altitude in central and northern Greece will see a full freeze between Saturday and Monday.
Leandros will bring snowfall even in the lowlands of Macedonia, Thrace, and Thessaly but also in the mountainous and semi-mountainous regions throughout Greece from Thursday evening.
