Media reports: Moving towards a stricter universal ban on red areas in Greece

Fevered activity prevails in the Ministries of Health and Civil Protection after the continuous increase of cases recorded by the country, while a stricter universal ban is a proposal of many scientists to stop the spread. So the possibility remains open tomorrow, Friday, to have an announcement of new, stricter measures, int.ert.gr reports.

The imposition of a strict universal ban was proposed yesterday by the professor of the Thessaloniki University Demosthenes Sarigiannis, speaking to ERT, since, as he said, it is no longer easy to stop the pandemic and if we continue at the same pace in a week we will have a dramatic increase in cases.

The number of new cases of coronavirus for the second day in the country has four digits, confirming the estimates of the experts who have been put on alert for the adoption of new emergency measures, until Friday.
