Τhe concentration of the SARS-CoV-2 viral load in Thessaloniki’s sewage remained at the same levels according to the latest measurement, the research team conducting the study revealed on Thursday, ANA reports.
“What we view as positive is that we do not observe an explosive increase so far, similar to the one recorded in autumn. We are monitoring the situation every day but currently, we are not seeing exponential growth of the virus in the community,” noted the head of the research team, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki rector Nikos Papaioannou to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
