Greece’s National Public Health Organization (EODY) President Panagiotis Arkoumaneas proposed a European platform to coordinate actions by organizations for the protection of refugees and migrants’ health, in a video conference on Thursday with the European Commission Vice-President for Promoting European Way of Life Margaritis Schinas, ANA reports.
This proposal reportedly aims to joint tackling cross-border health crises, in the context of both the Commission’s European Health Union initiative and the EU’s new Pact on Migration & Asylum.
