Greek Ηealth Minister Vassilis Kikilias, during a teleconference organized by the Athens Professional Chamber, expressed the certainty that, as the vaccinations progress, the spread of the coronavirus will be curbed and the situation will improve, according to a statement issued on Wednesday.
The minister did not offer an opinion about when economic activity might resume during the meeting, organized on Tuesday, but “did not hide his concern about yesterday’s increase in cases, which shows that the government is not examining the reopening of the retail sector in the next few days,” the statement said.
