Greek Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis on Friday had an emergency meeting involving various services at the headquarters of the Ionian islands region in Corfu, in order to give specific instructions to all the local administration bodies for restricting the transmission of the novel coronavirus and a return to normality, ANA reports.
Referring to the vaccine rollout on the islands aimed at attracting tourism, he appeared satisfied over its progress noting that “after the vaccination on small islands, comes the larger islands turn, as well as the vaccination of people working in the tourism sector.”
