Greece confirmed 1,626 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, with 5 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Sunday, ANA reports.
There are also 53 new confirmed deaths, bringing the total of pandemic victims to 7,091. Of these, 95.8 pct had an underlying condition and/or were 70 years or more.
The median age of new infections is 44 years (range: 0.2 to 105 years of age), while the median age of the deceased is 79 (range: 0 to 103 years).
