Greek Minister: More citizens are inoculated, faster than European vaccination rates

The opening of coronavirus inoculation appointments for citizens aged 30-39 (April 27) is a step closer to everyone being able to get vaccinated “quickly and safely,” said Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis in an interview to Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) on Saturday.

Announcements are to follow in a few days regarding the vaccination of age groups 40-44 and 45-49, added the minister. As more citizens participate in the unfolding inoculation program, he underlined, “we can reach higher inoculation rates than the European average, which would lead to adequate immunization,” ANA reports.

Furthermore, the government’s online portal, gov.gr, is about to be enriched with a new platform named “Know Your Customer”, which will allow bank customers to submit selected documents and information directly to their bank, securely.
