Τhe board of Greece’s Civil Servants Federation (ADEDY) has declared a 24-hour strike on June 3, during a meeting on Wednesday against the voting of the new draft bill introducing changes to labour law.
Among others, ADEDY claims that the labour bill “abolishes the eight-hour working day and collective labour agreements, criminalises trade union action and undermines the right to strike, the Sunday holiday and increases unpaid overtime while allowing dismissals without any controls.
