The general secretary of primary healthcare Marios Themistokleous announced on Saturday, addressing an event in the context of the Regional Growth Conference which is held in Patras, that “today we exceeded 6 million vaccinations”, ANA reports.
Referring to the vaccination progress on the islands he noted that “The islands were a strategic advantage for the country and from the first moment we set the target to move quickly, namely, to have complete vaccinations over 80 percent as for example on the islands of Kythnos and Sifnos”.
