The regional districts of Kastoria, Xanthi, and Drama were placed under curfew over high coronavirus incidents on Thursday. The measure goes into effect on Friday through October 1, ANA reports.
As of 01:00 to 06:00, circulation in those regions is forbidden for all reasons except for work and serious health reasons, while music is banned in all entertainment and food places throughout 24 hours.
Local restrictions were extended in other regions of Greece as well, including Pella in northern Greece and the Argolid in the Peloponnese, the committee of infectious diseases specialists noted.
