A discussion on measures “if needed and necessary” will take place after the health experts’ committee convenes on Wednesday, said Alternate Health Minister Mina Gaga in an interview with the national broadcaster ERT on Monday, ANA reports.
She was commenting on the worsening of the epidemiological situation in northern Greece and the possible assumption of measures.
On the monoclonal antibody drugs, she announced that efforts are underway in order for the first 2,000-dose order to arrive in Greece by November 11. The infectious diseases committee is examining the criteria for administering monoclonal antibody therapy, she added, noting that all countries give immunosuppressed individuals priority access to these treatments.
