Heavy rain, possibly accompanied by hail, will continue to affect the southern Cyclades islands and Crete on Wednesday, while poor weather and relatively low temperatures will persist in many parts of Greece, despite improved conditions in the west and north. Snow will fall at higher altitudes on the mainland and the mountains of Crete, ANA reports.
According to the National Observatory of Athens weather service meteo, temperatures will range from -5C to 12C in Western Macedonia, from -1C to 15C in the rest of northern Greece, between 1C and 16C in Epirus, between 2C and 15C in Thessaly, from 3C to 14C for the rest of the mainland, between 3C to 14C on the Ionian islands, 5C to 15C on the Aegean islands and between 5C and 14C on Crete.
Showers in Attica with occasional snowfall at higher altitudes in the west and northwest, with the weather improving from the afternoon and north northeasterly winds up to 7 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 6C to 11C.
