The weather is forecast to deteriorate as of Monday afternoon, with spells of rain, thunderstorms, and hail expected during the coming week, the weather service announced, ANA reports.
Intense phenomena are expected on Monday afternoon in many parts of the mainland, especially in the north and east, with similar but less severe phenomena on Tuesday.
More heavy rain and storms are expected in mainland Greece from the afternoon on Wednesday and the unsettled weather will continue on Thursday, especially in Macedonia-Thrace.
On Friday, rain and storms are expected on the mainland, the Sporades islands, the northeastern Aegean, and possibly in North Evia, with the weather improving at the weekend.
