A total of 900 rallies and marches took place in Athens during January-August 2022, Citizen Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos said in a tweet on Friday, and streets were shut down in only 314 cases, ANA reports.
Across Greece, there were 2,928 rallies and marches during the first eight months of the year, and streets shut down for 86 of these, while in Thessaloniki there were 441 rallies and marches and the streets shut down in 101 cases.
