Meteorological data about the imminent advent of the ‘Ariel’ weather front in Greece were considered at a meeting in the Climate Change & Civil Protection Ministry held on Tuesday, ANA reports.
Authorities have issued warnings to the public to avoid unnecessary movement, ensure that drains are free, and call 112 in case of emergency. If evacuation is necessary, residents will be alerted by text messages through that number.
