Temperatures in Greece will rise significantly between Tuesday and Thursday, according to the latest forecast by the meteo.gr weather service of the National Observatory of Athens, with maximum temperatures surpassing 20C in places, ANA reports.
The higher temperatures will be the result of southerly winds, which will gradually strengthen to reach 6-7 Beaufort on Wednesday and 7-8 Beaufort on Thursday, and will carry increased quantities of dust from the continent of Africa in the upper atmosphere.
