Civil Protection and Climate Crisis Minister Vassilis Kikilias on Sunday urged the citizens to be cautious due to the forecast for extreme risk of fire on Monday also referring to the huge efforts of the firefighting forces in Alexandroupolis wildfire.
“For the second consecutive day, the Fire Brigade forces, the volunteers, the army, the police, and the local authorities are giving a huge battle with the fire in Alexandroupolis. The Fire Risk Forecast Map for Monday 21 August is at point red for the island of Evia, Attica, Viotia, Argolida, and Corinthia. I urge you to be cautious” Kikilias said
