A 17% average decrease in starting prices for 100 menstrual products has been recorded since Wednesday, ANA reports.
These products are added to the categories that, as announced by Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas, have been part of the intervention since March 1, limiting the total discounts of suppliers in supermarkets by 30% and transferring the corresponding benefit to the consumer.
According to the Ministry of Development’s announcement, “Starting from March 1, the day the government measures to address accuracy began, 4,014 consumer goods in basic categories have seen reduced initial prices ranging between 15-17%. Especially noteworthy are the initial prices of 100 menstrual products, which have experienced a 17% decrease since Wednesday.”
