The very high temperatures with maximum values locally over 40 on the Celsius scale will continue in Greece on Monday, ANA reports.
A gradual drop in temperatures, both in terms of maximum and minimum values, will start on Tuesday which will be felt by the middle of next week in most areas.
On Sunday (21-7-2024) and Monday (22-7-2024), the temperature is expected to reach:
a. in the northern mainland 38C to 39C, in the rest of the mainland 39C to 40C and locally 41C
b. in the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese 38C to 40C.
