State of emergency declared on Greek islands of Rhodes and Limnos after storm

The island of Rhodes, as well as the municipalities of Myrina, Atsiki, and Nea Koutali on Limnos, were declared in a state of emergency on Monday due to the flooding provoked by the storm “Bora”, following Civil Protection general secretary Vassilis Papageorgiou’s decision, ANA reports.

The request for Rhodes was submitted by the island’s mayor Alexandros Koliadis.
