Police will introduce traffic restrictions in the center of Athens on Friday, over protest rallies and marches commemorating the 16th anniversary of the fatal injury of student Alexandros Grigoropoulos, ANA reports.
Rallies and marches have been scheduled as of the afternoon, Hellenic Police said, adding that traffic restrictions will be gradual and depend on traffic conditions. Traffic police will take measures to facilitate circulation in the greater Athens area.
Police also called on drivers to avoid parking and circulating in the vicinity of events, for their convenience and to avoid adding to traffic problems.
