The procedures are progressing for the holding of a tender with an estimated value of 206,088 euros by the Municipality of Oichalia for the procurement of a Platform for the Strengthening of Local Entrepreneurship and the Promotion of Business – Tourism Activity and Cultural Heritage for the Municipality, through a Smart Guide with the registration of local businesses.
Specifically, the Municipality of Oichalia, within the framework of the proposal “Digital Transformation of Local Authorities”, intends to procure new applications and technological means that will improve its management and functionality. The selection of the proposed action was made from the marketplace of relevant call actions with the aim of serving the local needs and policies of the municipality.
The proposed action is part of the axis of Improving Service to Citizens and Businesses, following the philosophy of the marketplace, which is a good practice of the European Commission, and the methodology developed in the European marketplace, the “Integrated Explore-Shape-Deal Matchmaking Process”, adapted to Greek conditions.
The proposed project includes the promotion and promotion of an integrated cultural and tourist product in the Municipality in order to strengthen local development and activities, while taking into account the need to expand into new markets.
The use of new technologies is the driving force for the implementation of the project, which will make the area a tourist attraction, but will also effectively disseminate the history and culture of the area.
The result of the operation of the e-Platform is that businesses and professionals of the Municipality will obtain a free tool for direct and effective advertising of their work, while residents and visitors will truly get to know our place and gain one more reason to prefer local businesses for their entertainment, consumer needs and entertainment.
The Platform will be open, on the same terms, equally, without financial cost for all businesses of the Municipality and will not be used for advertising or promoting a product or service or a specific business or sector of business.
