The LifeArt Media Festival comes to Athens on 10-12 July 2017

Inspired by the work of director Michael Cacoyannis, the LifeArt Media Festival is a new, L.A.-based multimedia film institution, aiming to provide filmmakers from all over the world a forum for the presentation of their work and its distinction.

An innovative initiative spanning the whole breadth of cinematic production, it is one of few festivals in the world highlighting new technologies, including, in addition to cinema, dynamically emerging TV production, the internet and, of course, virtual reality. The Festival’s intercultural identity and culture is suprbly reflected in its featured films, with more than 300 entries.

The festival’s potential is recorded in the broad support it enjoys from internationally acclaimed artists, such as Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone.

The Festival will be held between 10-12 July 2017 at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, and all screenings of films in competition are open to the public on a first come-first served basis.

More information is available at www.lifeartfestival.com and at www.mcf.gr.

The Festival is under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization.
