The Reworks Festival presents the Resound / Echos of Thessaloniki, a new project that is supported by the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization. Its goal is to create a soundtrack for the city based on all of the natural sounds that found on various spots around its urban landscape. The White Tower, the seafront of Thessaloniki, the Byzantine walls, Kapani market and Modiano market are some of the spots that will offer the first musical material to Resound/Echos of Τhessaloniki.
The Reworks invites to an open call musicians, composers and music producers from all over the country and abroad in a musical “dialogue”.
The composer selected by the committee, consisting of Larry Gus (DFA), And.id (Mobilee recs), Cayetano (Klik Recs), Tendts (Project Mooncircle / Lower Parts) and Ison (NON), will have the opportunity to appear at Reworks 2017 and also take part as a member of the Selection Committee in the next version of the project.
