“Carmen will never become outworn as a heroine because she transmits all these powerful messages that we need today,” Anita Rachvelishvili noted in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
She is a dynamic, glamorous and charismatic 33-year old star appearing in Milan’s Scala, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Paris Opera, who set out from Georgia and conquered the world. She will perform “Carmen” in Athens on July 27, 28, 29 and July 31.
