Greek fans of English rock band The Cure are in raptures after it was announced that the legendary group fronted by Robert Smith will appear at the Ejekt Festival on July 17, 2019, at the Nero Square in Athens as part of the impressive line up for the 15th anniversary of Ejekt Festival.
The news was unveiled through a post on the organiser’s official Facebook page, which included the emblematic song “Boys Do not Cry”.
“We could not have imagined a better way to celebrate our 15th anniversary.” The Cure will return to Greece after 14 years in the framework of their long-awaited European tour for the band’s 40-year presence. Ticket sales will start on Friday, September 21, at 12 noon.
