The municipality of Piraeus has approved an energy program that will introduce to the area more efficient street light uses the high tech methods, ANA reports.
In a meeting held on Monday, Piraeus decided to replace 13,565 street lights with new ones using smart applications that will create savings of 8.5 million euros. The money will be used for extra investments and the reduction of council fees, the municipality added.
