Today’s Google Doodle honors the Greek Revolution of March 25th, 1821 (video)

Google is honoring the nation of Greece today by today by dedicating its doodle to the March 25 anniversary of the Greek revolution against the Ottoman Empire, greekreporter.com notes.

A Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google’s homepages which is intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements, and notable historical figures.

The European Commission is also celebrating Greece’s National day with a video which can be watched here.
