One of Vancouver’s largest cultural festivals, “Greek Day on Broadway,” is back for 2019, according to greekreporter.com.
This event is the biggest one-day Greek festival in Vancouver, and it attracts more than 100,000 people every year.
This year the Festival will be held on June 23, 2019 along a five-block stretch from McDonald Street to Blenheim Street.
Offering food, beverages, shopping, and music, “Greek Day” is the final event in a month-long Greek Heritage Festival happening all across the city.
Presented by the Hellenic Canadian Congress of BC, the festival, which kicked off in 1974, aims to share the rich Greek culture which spans 2,500 years of history, including over 100 years of social and cultural contributions to the city of Vancouver.
This award-winning festival presents valued community partners the opportunity to exhibit products, promote travel experiences, or showcase their brand to a vast consumer audience.
