President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou met earlier on Tuesday with the President of the Committee “Greece 2021” Gianna Angelopoulou-Daskalaki, who briefed her in detail on the events that will be held throughout 2021 for the 200-year anniversary of the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Rule, ANA reports.
On her part, Sakellaropoulou thanked Angelopoulou for the briefing and expressed her certainty that, despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the celebration will be held in a way that will be fitting for the high importance of this historic anniversary.
