The vaccination schedule, starting on 27 December, was presented by the Commission of the national vaccination program codenamed “Freedom”. One day before, on the 26th of December, the country will have received the first part of 9,000 vaccines, which will be used in the reference hospitals, int.ert.gr reports.
Citizens will be vaccinated after making a digital appointment or through pharmacies.
The first to be vaccinated are the health personnel, followed by the elderly hosted in retirement houses and then those over 85 years old.
The vaccination of the general population will begin after mid-January when the appointment platform is expected to open.
By the end of January, we will have received 429,000 vaccines, and by the end of March 1,665,550.
