Members of AHEPA Troy Chapter 306 and their families volunteered at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York on September 9. The Regional Food Bank is a not-for-profit organization that collects donated food from the food industry and distributes it to nearly 900 charitable agencies feeding communities in 23 counties. Their impact is huge for the Capital Region – they help feed over a quarter of a million people each month. Our volunteer group sorted and packaged paper goods including paper towels, toilet paper, diapers, zip-lock bags, and other miscellaneous items. The group included Mike Krumpholz, George Polemeropoulos, and son Thomas, and Eric Jasinski and daughter Mary.
