Fifteen leading companies operating in Greece will present work opportunities to Greek nationals living in the Netherlands on November 30, as part of the ‘REBRAIN GREECE’ institutionalized action, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security said on Thursday, ANA reports.
The action aims to encourage Greeks living abroad to connect with companies looking for highly skilled employees and to encourage Greek talent to return home.
The event is scheduled at 10:00 am on Saturday (Nov. 30) at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam (Apollolaan 138, 1077 BG Amsterdam).
Companies taking part in the action include: Alpha Bank, Archirodon, Cenergy Holdings, Demo Pharmaceutical, ElvalHalcor, Ernst & Young, Eunice Energy Group, Hellenic Energy, Lamda Development, Metlen Energy, and Metals, Motor Oil, OTE Group, Pfizer, Public Power Corporation, and Titan Greece.
Interested parties may sign up on the platform https://platform.rebraingreece.gr, where available positions are posted by the companies taking part in Amsterdam’s ”REBRAIN GREECE’ action.
A similar action will take place in London in spring 2025, the ministry said.
In addition, in the framework of the overall effort by the ministry to attract Greeks back to Greece, a “Careers Day” has been scheduled on December 14, 2024, in Dusseldorf by the Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. This has been an ongoing program for several years, but the Dusseldorf event is the first one to take place abroad. It is held with the help of the Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry. Over 40 leading companies are expected to attend, DYPA said on its site.
