Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides and Jordan’s King Abdullah II to discuss trilateral cooperation and prospects for joint initiatives in civil protection, connectivity, and energy. The meeting took place during the 4th Cyprus-Greece-Jordan Summit in Nicosia, ANA reports.
According to government sources, the leaders also addressed recent developments in the Middle East, including the positive step of a ceasefire in Lebanon aimed at de-escalating regional tensions.
The summit concluded with the signing of memoranda by the foreign ministers of the three countries. These included agreements on water resources management, education cooperation for 2024-2027, and cooperation between Enterprise Greece, Invest Cyprus, and the Jordan Investment Commission for the same period.
