The Department of Tourism of the Municipality of Chania continues in 2025 the actions related to the development and promotion of alternative forms of tourism, with the aim of providing unique experiences to the residents and visitors of Chania.
The Alternative Tourism & Experiences Festival, “260Kmemories Festival”, after its successful holding in 2023 and 2024, is organized this year for the 3rd consecutive year on the three-day period of May 16-18, 2024, at the Venetian Port of Chania.
The aim of the Festival is to highlight the dynamic of the actions carried out by organizations and individuals in Crete throughout the year, which provide the visitor and the locals with a multitude of experiences and alternative actions.
Professionals, organizations, and collectives active in alternative tourism-experience tourism can participate in the Festival. Participants will showcase their services during the exhibition, while at the same time they will be able to offer the public actions related to their subject. In addition, there will be the possibility of networking among exhibitors in order to create combined services and products of alternative tourism.
