With the aim of providing timely information and support for its member businesses, the Cyclades Chamber is organizing an important event this year, which is in view of the start of the tourist season.
Entitled “Value Tourism: Strengthening My Business and the Destination”, the event will take place on Monday, March 31 and will focus on new trends and challenges in the sector, as well as strategies that will help businesses adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Speakers & Topics
Georgia Zouni, Assistant Professor, Department of Tourism Studies, University of Piraeus.
She will analyze the importance of value tourism, strategies for attracting quality visitors to the Cyclades and managing the image of a destination after crises, on the occasion of recent developments in Santorini and the Cyclades.
Haris Tzannis, Lecturer of Gastronomic Marketing Seminars, INSETE. He will focus on experiential tourism, highlighting the role of gastronomy and local production in strengthening the tourism product and the sustainability of destinations.
How to Participate
The event will be held in person at the conference room of the Cyclades Chamber in Syros, while there will also be the possibility of online monitoring for members from the other islands.
The event is aimed at tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, organizations, and those interested in the development of a quality and sustainable tourism product in the Cyclades.
