HCH: Hundreds of B2B meetings at the 4th Annual B2B Boutique Hotel Forum

A vote of confidence in Boutique Hotels, members of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels program, was shown by 20 leading European tour operators and journalists who participated in consecutive B2B meetings as part of the 4th B2B Boutique Hotel Forum, an event that took place in Athens on Friday, March 28.

This is an initiative of the Boutique Hotel Program of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, which is constantly increasing in terms of participation, while once again giving the program members the opportunity to connect with leading tourism professionals from Europe and Greece, strengthening their networking and business prospects.

In particular, with the central message “Meet, Share, Grow”, the event, which has now become an institution for the community of certified Boutique Hotels, offered a unique platform for professional cooperation, bringing together Program Members with travel agents and international media journalists who shape modern trends in tourism. Through scheduled B2B meetings of the 4th B2B Boutique Hotel Forum, the participating hotels presented their unique hospitality proposals, creating new professional relationships and enhancing their visibility in the international market. To facilitate contact, a special digital platform was activated, through which more than 450 professional meetings were held with the physical presence of the participants.

At the beginning of the event, the invited speakers developed topical topics such as “Tools and Practices for the most effective promotion of the hotel”, “CRM Marketing for hotels,” and “Human Resources Management in tourism businesses”. The presentations were attended by Mr. Yiannis Angelakis, founder of Engage Media, Mr. Konstantinos Skianis and Ms. Alexandra Lavda of Mediacube, as well as Dr. Theodoros Stavrinoudis, professor at the University of the Aegean and director of iTED Lab.

The President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos, in his welcome address, reiterated the commitment of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels to support the community of Boutique Hotels, which best showcase Greek hospitality and contribute to sustainable tourism development.

Ms. Emilia Vlami, scientific manager of the Boutique Hotel Program, emphasized the benefits and privileges enjoyed by members of the community, underlining the contribution of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels to the promotion of small hotels with a special identity.

The experience concluded on Saturday, March 29, with guests enjoying a unique cultural and culinary tour of Athens. Narratologies organized an interactive treasure hunt in the picturesque alleys of Plaka, where, with the help of its award-winning app and Game Masters, participants discovered the hidden secrets of the city, explored the myth of Athena and Poseidon, and tasted authentic local delicacies. They then visited the Acropolis Museum, where they were guided through the unique exhibits, and concluded the day with a delicious meal of Greek cuisine with the Columns of Olympian Zeus in the background. This experience was made possible with the support of the Athens, Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association.

The tangible success of the 4th B2B Boutique Hotel Forum confirms the dynamic of the institution and the importance of professional networking in the development of Boutique Hotels.
