On June 15, the 1st Silk City Run – Soufli Road Races is scheduled to take place in Soufli, the emblematic Silk City. This is a new action with an ambitious vision: to establish itself as an institution that will combine sports, culture, history, and local identity in a dynamic and modern way.
The aim of the initiative is to reach and inspire people of all ages, conveying the message of movement, health, and community, while at the same time highlighting the timeless role of silk and mulberry, elements closely linked to the history and identity of the region.
The main axes of the organization are summarized as follows:

Participating in a running race motivates the individual to integrate physical activity into their daily lives, improving their physical and mental health. In addition, it strengthens character through discipline, perseverance, and responsibility, while cultivating sociability and teamwork.
