A unique sporting event with a scent of joy, participation and fair play is scheduled to take place in Kala Nera, Magnesia, on October 4th and 5th. The “Panmagnesian Football Tournament”, entitled “We Lose – We Win – We Will Celebrate”, aims to promote football among young people, away from the stress of the result and giving priority to participation and the spirit of “fair play”.
The event is co-organized by the Region of Thessaly – Regional Unit of Magnesia and Sporades and the Athletic Union 2002 and is expected to bring together a number of academy teams from all over the Magnesia region.
Specifically, the tournament will be attended by children aged 6 to 14, giving young talents the opportunity to experience the joy of the game, teamwork and sportsmanship.
In contrast to the usual championships where the result and scores are the focus, “We Lose – We Win – We’ll Celebrate” adopts a different philosophy. Here, participation, effort and “fair play” are at the center, while also strengthening the development of football in the local community from an early age.
The organizers seek through this football celebration to strengthen sports culture, create a friendly and supportive environment for children and provide the impetus for further development of the sport in the region. The tournament in Kala Nera is also an opportunity for families, coaches and local organizations to strengthen their relationships around sports and youth. In this way, the tournament functions as a social platform, where children and parents can create new friendships and strengthen a sense of community.
Given that sports for young children are a foundation for healthy development, the organizers attach particular importance to education through play, promoting values such as respect, cooperation and solidarity.
This two-day event promises to be not just a sporting event, but also a celebration of football, youth and collective effort that goes beyond the boundaries of the field.
