The Aliveri Department of the Society of Euboean Studies is organizing on Sunday, October 5, at 19:00 at the Aliveri Gymnasium, a special event of literary and historical interest, with the guest of the very well-known author, professor of Law and excellent expert on Greek and Balkan history, Lena Divani.
Ms. Divani, fascinating in her presentation, with narrative skill and catalytic humor, will talk about her successful and best-selling novels.
In her books, especially those with a historical background, she shows aspects of her protagonists that are unknown to many and are revealed disarmingly.
Some of her well-known novels during her writing career are:
“Couples Who Wrote the History of Greece”, a great publishing success that was the reason for organizing the event and about which Ms. Divani will speak at length and accept questions
“A Date with the Queen”,
“I Dreamed of Dido”,
“What I Learned Walking in the World”,
“The Bitter Glass, Kapodistrias, Roxandra and Greece”
She has also written the studies “The Territorial Integration of Greece – 1830-1947”, “Exercises in Homeland Studies, Greece and Minorities”, etc.
The audience will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion and ask questions about her writing, which combines documented historical research with lively storytelling.
