With active participation and substantial interest, the fourth educational seminar of the Peloponnese Tourism Academy initiative, entitled “Investing in People”, was held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Argolida Labor Center.
The theme of the seminar focused on the digital transformation of tourism, the professional development of executives, new trends in hospitality and the importance of personal empowerment, with presentations from renowned professionals in the sector.
The action, organized by the Peloponnese Region, was implemented in Argos with the valuable support of the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae, the Peloponnese School of Higher Vocational Training in Tourism (SAEK) and the Argolida Labor Center.
The conference was actively attended by students from the departments of SAEK Tourism of the Peloponnese, who had the opportunity to attend highly targeted presentations and to come into contact with professionals and executives from the tourism market.
At the same time, tourism professionals from the wider region were present, as well as representatives of the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae, the Hoteliers’ Association of Argos-Mycenae, the Chamber of Argolida and local bodies.
Special mention deserves the participation of SAEK students, who constitute the living future of Greek tourism and highlighted through their presence the importance of connecting education with the tourism market. The Peloponnese Region, through the Peloponnese Tourism Academy, consistently continues the implementation of its strategy for humane, quality and sustainable tourism, with the next stops for 2025, Loutraki, Nafplio and Vytina.
