The Attica Region’s Christmas Village at Pedion tou Areos returns and welcomes its visitors from Friday, 28 November 2025 until Wednesday, 7 January 2026, with free entrance for everyone – daily from 16:30 to 22:00 and on weekends from 10:00 in the morning.
Spectacular “grand opening” of the Village
The Christmas Village of the Region opens its gates on Friday, 28 November at 19:00 with the lighting of the Christmas tree at Pedion tou Areos by the Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, followed by a light show.
Right after, at 19:30, Thodoris Ferris and the explosive Onemanshow will “launch” the Village’s main music stage, offering a live programme.
A few hours before the official opening, at 18:00, the street band “Tin Soldiers” will make the first festive stroll through the Village.
Rich festive programme, with free entrance
For yet another year, the main stage of the Christmas Village will host major names of the Greek music scene.
The New Year will be welcomed with Eleni Foureira, Zaf and DJ Bobito.
Also noteworthy are the concerts and musical tributes scheduled throughout the festive season: Klaudia, Giannis Kotsiras, Nikos Portokaloglou, Rena Morfi, Melina Aslanidou, Panos Mouzourakis, Giannis Zouganelis, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Melina Kana, Locomondo, Gadjo Dilo are only some of the artists who will appear on the Christmas Village main stage.
There will also be performances and artistic events for children and adults, interactive educational activities for kids of all ages, colourful carousels and food corners.
At the same time, the Village features a state-of-the-art ice rink, as well as forty wooden stalls where visitors can buy handmade crafts, gifts and Christmas ornaments.
As the Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, stated:
“With great joy and even greater emotion, we open for the second consecutive year the gates of our Christmas Village at Pedion tou Areos. Last year, thousands of families filled our Park with light, warmth and smiles – and that embrace of love was our greatest reward. This year, we return more prepared, more creative and more determined to offer everyone an even more magical experience.
Holidays have something special: they remind us that despite the challenges, there is always space for hope, joy, and the small miracles we share with the people we love. That is exactly what we want to experience here – a park that lights up, a city that smiles, an Attica that opens its heart to everyone. And that is why we work every day so that each festive moment has its own unique beauty.
Just as we promised, Pedion tou Areos is changing day by day. We see it, we feel it, we all enjoy it.
