An evening with Sakis Venetis and Tasos Stefatos at zoh?s

zoh?s continues its “Side by Side” series with another night bringing together two kitchens and two creative worlds. On Wednesday, 10 December, Executive Chef Sakis Venetis welcomes guest chef Tasos Stefatos for a pop-up menu served only for one day, in six courses with wine pairing from Charitatou Estate.

The collaboration unfolds through seasonal ingredients and gastronomic references: carob with bottarga, smoked-peppery cauliflower, an island-style comfort pithivier inspired by the Kefalonian cod pie, charcoal-grilled “Savory” mushrooms, traditional-style kleftiko lamb, and profiterole with sweetened almonds from Kefalonia, before the finale of coffee and mignardises.

All Eyes on Palestine: Contemporary Palestinian art in the heart of Athens

The exhibition All Eyes on Palestine arrives in Athens as a powerful, polyphonic presentation of contemporary Palestinian art, opening to the public on Thursday, 11 December 2025 at 19:00, at Karori 15 & Voreou 4. The exhibition presents works by 20 Palestinian artists belonging to the generation between the two Intifadas, now working in Gaza, the West Bank, France and elsewhere. The range of media includes painting, drawing, comics, photography, video, installations and performance.

Curated by Ilektra Stambouli, with the support of Danae Stratou and Doris Hakim, the exhibition highlights the experience of occupation, exile and resistance through a visual language of memory, identity and resilience. In a world where Palestinian voices are often silenced or marginalised, All Eyes on Palestine affirms the visibility they deserve and their influence on contemporary art.

Athens is the starting point of a European tour, and any proceeds from artwork sales will go directly to the artists.
Duration: 12 December 2025 – 25 January 2026.

Quantic live in Athens

From the corners of the world to the stage of Athens, Quantic (Will Holland) comes on Friday, 12 December for a performance full of rhythm, soulful energy and disarming stage presence. A tireless explorer of sound, he has built his path between solo productions and large-scale projects — from The Quantic Soul Orchestra to the Colombian chapters of cumbia and reggae/dub — always driven by curiosity for local scenes.

With his recent “Dancing While Falling” reflecting his contemporary, dance-driven side with disco and house influences, the Athenian night promises to be ideal for those who love music that travels, blends genres and results in a set that’s hard to stand still through.

“Diary of a Madman” returns for a second season at the Kykladon Street Theatre

Following a series of acclaimed productions that have revitalised the Kykladon Street Theatre – Lefteris Voyatzis, Stathis Livathinos returns with one of the most emblematic texts of world literature. “Diary of a Madman” by Nikolai Gogol is presented for a second season, premiering on 15 December, with a limited number of performances.

At the centre is Aksenty Ivanovich Poprishchin, an “invisible” minor clerk crushed by social hierarchy and a sense of failure. A fleeting spark of affection for the Director’s daughter becomes the starting point of an explosive inner journey where the boundaries between everyday life, imagination and “madness” begin to blur. The production approaches the character not as a caricature but as a vulnerable, deeply human figure seeking an escape — even if that escape is perceived differently by the world of the “normal.”
Cast: Giorgos Dabas, Nestoras Kopsidas, Lilly Meleme.

The discosnails come out in Rentis

The second DJ session as part of Juergen Teller’s exhibition “you are invited” takes place on Sunday, 14 December, 19:00–22:00, in the lounge space of Onassis Ready. Street Outdoors Soundsystem (Jiles & Jose Amba) curate an unconventional back-to-back set without borders — from contemporary house to rare disco and techno — creating a musical journey that converses with the exhibition environment and enriches the evening’s experience.

The music is accompanied by cocktails from the wine bar “Epta Martyres” and the street food menu of NOKELAPROJECT, forming a triptych of art, sound and taste. “you are invited: discosnails” is organised in collaboration with STEGI.RADIO and Epta Martyres, while Teller’s retrospective at Onassis Ready continues until 30 December 2025.
