A site on a small but picturesque Greek isle of Donousa, in the Cyclades chain, made Forbes’ 2018 list of “Top 8” most beautiful beaches around the world. Kedros (cedar) was cited as featuring a white sand beach and for being isolated, but still only a kilometer away from the small village of Stavros. Even more remote and quiet is the Livadi beach, on the same isle, according to Forbes.
The eight top beaches for 2018, as far as the US financial magazine is concerned, include:
- Pink Beach, Flores, Indonesia
- Pass Island, Coron, Philippines
- San Onofre State Beach, California, United States
- Seme Beach, Cameroon
- Paje, Zanzibar
- Cayes of Belize, Belize
- Phi Phi Islands, Thailand
- Kedros, Donousa isle, Greece
