Wind power increased by 1.5% during H1 across Greece

Wind power in Greece grew by 1.5 pct in the first half of 2018, the Hellenic Scientific Association of Wind Energy (ELETAEN) said in a report released on Friday, ANA reports.

 More specifically, wind energy power was 2,690 MW at the end of June, up 39.2 MW from the end of 2017.

Central Greece remains at the top of the rankings for windpower units (898 MW with a 33.4 pct market share), followed by the Peloponnese (522 MW and a 19.4 pct market share) and Eastern Macedonia-Thrace (335.5 MW and a 12.5 pct market share).
