Volunteer divers to clean 'seahorse' reef in Halkidiki of ghost nets

Volunteer divers are to clean the ‘seahorse’ reef in Stratoni, Halkidiki of the abandoned fishing nets, also known as “ ghost nets”, currently covering much of its surface, during a three-day diving initiative scheduled to take place on November 3-5, ANA reports.

The initiative is organised by Ghost Fishing Greece and Healthy Seas with the participation of Stratoni community along with three diving teams.
